The River Bible Church is an authentic, Christ-centered community where people grow together in their knowledge of God.

As a Reformed, independent church, we are committed to loving God, loving people, and teaching the Bible clearly and faithfully.

Rooted in historic Christianity and engaged with today’s world, we emphasize the careful study and practical application of God’s Word so that faith shapes everyday life.

We know visiting a church for the first time can feel intimidating. Our goal is to make your visit easy, welcoming, and comfortable.

You don’t need to dress up, know anyone, or worry about standing out. We simply want you to feel at home as you worship with us and hear God’s Word. You belong here!

Kids Love our Church!

Our kids ministry is a safe, welcoming environment where children are loved, protected, and taught the truth of God’s Word. We prioritize security through check-in procedures, trained volunteers, and clear safety standards so parents can worship with confidence.

Our children’s programs are led by caring, well-prepared women and men who are trained to teach the Bible faithfully while making learning fun, engaging, and age-appropriate.

Kids do not just hear Bible stories; they learn how God’s Word applies to their everyday lives. We partner with parents to help children grow in faith, build strong character, and experience the joy of learning about God in a place where they are known and valued.

You Can Feel Confident Bringing Your Kids

Newborns through age 4 may join their class 10 minutes before each service. Children in Kindergarten through 5th grade begin the service in the sanctuary with their families so we can worship and take communion together. Afterward, our volunteers escort them downstairs for an age-appropriate Bible lesson.

Your child’s safety is very important to us. All of our volunteers are screened and trained to provide a safe, caring, and fun environment for your kids.

Please note: Nursery, preschool, and elementary are offered at all three services.

LIFE CHANGE

HAPPENS HERE.

Connect, grow in God’s Word, and live on mission together.

Our discipleship groups are designed to help you grow deeper in God’s Word and stronger in Christian community.

Meeting at the church and in homes, these groups focus on studying Scripture, applying it to daily life, and encouraging one another to live on mission.

With groups for men, women, families, couples, and young people, along with classes taught by our pastor and deacons, there is a place for everyone to connect, grow, and build lasting relationships.

Student Ministry: Growing Faith for Real Life

Preparing Students for Life Through God’s Word

Our student ministry meets every Wednesday and is a place where students grow in their understanding of the Bible, build meaningful friendships, and learn how to live out their faith.

Through Bible teaching, small-group connection, and time together, students are encouraged to ask questions, grow spiritually, and develop a faith that lasts.

Throughout the year, students take part in winter and summer retreats, serve in the community, and experience opportunities that strengthen both their faith and relationships.

Our goal is to help students learn the essential truths of Scripture and be grounded in Christ as they prepare for their future, whether that leads to college, career, or calling.

 COMMON QUESTIONS

  • We’re a people-focused church, and you can expect a warm, genuine welcome. Smiles, handshakes, and friendly conversation are part of who we are.

We’re deeply committed to Jesus and the study of God’s Word, not just hearing it, but living it out together. People will likely introduce themselves and take time to get to know you, not out of obligation, but because we’re a church family that truly cares.

We will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for a while.

  • We want you to wear what you are most comfortable in. Jeans, t-shirts, or dress pants…it’s all fine to us!

  • We provide a safe, engaging environment for children of all ages. Nursery and kids services are age-appropriate, students are checked in securely, and parents can feel confident their children are well cared for.

  • Getting connected is an important part of life at our church. We encourage everyone to join a discipleship group or class, where you can grow in your understanding of the Bible and build meaningful relationships.

There are also many opportunities to serve and use your gifts for God’s kingdom. We can’t wait to see how God works in your life.
